1. deal with the decisions made by the municipal Ageing Committee
2. to draw up principles and policies for the city's ageing work and make yearly plan and organize implementation as authorize by the ageing committee;
3. to contact and coordinate with the member companies of the ageing committee and inspect the proceedings of the affairs decided by the ageing committee;
to investigate into and conclude the advanced experience of the ageing works and collect informations;
5.to organize activities for the senior citizens and induct the ageing communities to hold positive and healthy activities;
6. to develop scientific research on ageing;
to deal with the cases on international communications on ageing subject;
8.to undertake any other affairs consigned by municipal Ageing Committee;
9.to undertake any other affairs consigned by municipal party committee and municipal government;
