The gross enrollment rate of colledges and universities and 18,435 graduate students.During the year,137,300 participants took the exams of higher learning for the self-educated people.Private-run education continued to develop.By the end of the year, there were 61 non-govermental schools of various sorts with 63,900 students, an increase of 13.7% over the previous phase project of the new campus of Hangzhou Normal Urban College of zhejiang University were put to use.
