The statistics from Hangzhou Municipal Statistics Bureau shows that since this year the investment in fixed assets  grows well and the above ceiling  investment in fixed assets  has reached 85.879 billion yuan from January to July, up 26.5 percent compared with the same period of last year.

The  investment in large-scale projects  contributed more to the growth. From January to July, there have had 86 projects with over 100 million of the investment each, 26 more than that in 2007 and the total investment was 22.243 billion yuan up 61.8 percent. The projects with over 100 million yuan of the investment accounted to 38.2 percent of total investment, up 8.5 percent.(Hangzhou Daily)
